Seminar on "Bangladesh's achievement in Information Technology, Service sector, Infrastructure development sector"
Last 13.01.2018 Mr. Anjan Chandra Paul, Deputy Commissioner, Lakshmipur was present as the chief guest on the seminar titled "Bangladesh's achievement in information technology, service sector, infrastructure development sector" organized by Laxmipur District Administration, Laxmipur. Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Universal), Laxmipur presided over as special guest Mr. Abu Daud Md. Golam Mostafa, Chief Executive Officer, District Council, Laxmipur, Mr. Mir Shawkat Hossain, Deputy Director, Local Government, Laxmipur, Mr. Mostafa Khaled Ahmed, Civil Surgeon, Laxmipur. The seminar was presented by Mr. Mohammad Maksudur Rahman, Assistant Programmer, Department of Information and Communication Technology, Laxmipur Sadar. He presented digital power outline in 2021 through the information and communication technology in front of the chiefs of the government institutions coming in the seminar, achieving the last 4 years, ongoing activities and future strategies. He also said that in the management of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, the government has already brought the districts and sadar upazilas across the country under the speedy Internet network of the country through two very important projects and the project is being implemented by the Infosystem Phase-3, for the expansion of fast Internet connectivity at the union level. In addition to providing education and training of foreign currency to the younger generations of the country through the Learning and Arining Program, Sheikh Rasel provided technical knowledge to all the students of secondary level through the Digital Lab and provide objective information on National Information and Communication Technology Policy-2015. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Laxmipur Sadar, Prof. Moinuddin Pathan, Principal, Laxmipur Government College, Laxmipur, Mr. Ahmed Abu Abdullah, Head Teacher, Rasulganj Multipurpose High School, spoke on the occasion. Besides, participants in the seminar highlighted various issues of information technology, service sector and infrastructure development in Lakshmipur district through their speeches.
